About James Huntington

I'm James Huntington, a graphic designer and SEO specialist based in Taff's Well, just north of Cardiff. I've been self-employed under Signature Graphic Design since 2014, with over twelve years' experience across design, digital marketing and content. I'm originally from Pembrokeshire and studied Industrial Design at UWIC, now Cardiff Metropolitan University.

What do I actually do?

Two things, mostly.

 

I design brand identities: logos, brand guidelines, print and marketing assets, working in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

​

And I do SEO: technical audits, local SEO, on-page optimisation, Google Analytics and Search Console work, and increasingly GEO, which means getting pages cited by AI search tools rather than just ranked in blue links.

Long-running design clients include WJEC/CBAC and Eduqas, where I've produced covers, posters and brand guidelines for their marketing and educational resources teams.

What am I working on now?

Alongside client work I'm building WhatAITools.co.uk, a directory and review site covering AI tools. It keeps me testing new tools constantly, and most of what I learn there feeds straight back into the SEO and content work I do for clients.
